Box-tree-caterpillar.jpgCaterpillar Alert!!

Now is the time to check for Caterpillars on your vegetable plots. They tend to be easily seen on overcast or dull days when the sun is not too hot. On brighter sunnier days they can be found on the underside of leaves, or in the case of Broccoli, within the main head / flower of the plant.

Remove the caterpillars either by hand, or use a mild detergent wash to washe them off of the plants.

Failure to do so can lead to a complete loss of your harvest, or worse still, finding a rather chewy piece in your vegetable during dinner.
