The 'Smoke & Mirrors' show garden designed by Alexandra Froggatt is the first Gold ever awarded to a show garden at the RHS London Plant & Design Show.
Rolawn supported the garden with a donation of Landscaping Bark and Organic Multi-Purpose Compost.
Alexandra commented "The garden was themed on 'Awkward Alleyways' and demonstrates how to transform a small neglected area into an urban oasis. The garden employs a variety of simple and elegant solutions to green up difficult spaces.
The use of acrylic mirrors and curves create the illusion of greater space and the strong use of white acts to lift the shaded area. Evergreen planting provides textural contrast while red dogwood stems and hot pink Anemone coronaria brighten the plot. Privacy is created by using green wall panels as screening."
Alexandra Froggatt was one of only 2 designers invited to create a show garden at this years RHS London Flower Show at the RHS headquarters (Vincent Square).
