In an Olympic year, it looks as though Sarah Price, designer of the Olympic Garden, could win the Chelsea Flower Show for The Daily Telegraph.
William Hill offer 7/2 that the Daily Telegraph Garden wins best in show at the Chelsea Flower Show, making it the favourite ahead of the Brewin Dolphin Garden at 4/1 and the Quiet Time: DMZ Forbidden Garden, designed by last year's winner, at 9/2. With a hosepipe ban in effect, it may well be a low maintenance garden that scoops the honour and Joe Swift's Homebase Garden could be the ideal candidate at 11/2.
"Sarah Price is clearly flavour of the month and given her Olympic connection it would be no surprise to see her walk away with the gold prize at Chelsea," said Hill's spokesman Joe Crilly.
