Message Board - Weather: The first proper frost this morning

At last, we've had the first proper frost of the year over here on the east coast. Hopefully the buds will shut up shop and stop thinking of opening months before they are due. And fingers crossed we have a few more hard frosts to see off the moss.

All I want now is lots of rain, as the reservoir is lower than normal for this time of year, and I don't fancy having to use mains water for my irrigation in the summer, as it costs a fortune.
